Pat Testing Process
All mains powered equipment is checked to meet the requirements of The Code of Practice for In-Service Inspection & Testing through the following process: –
Formal Visual Inspection
Protected Earth
Insulation Resistance
A numbered and dated pass or fail sticker is attached to the appliance and the actual test results recorded on a comprehensive report/certificate (Not just a pass or fail)
Minor repairs can also be effected, such as fuses or plugs, more significant faults/damage will be reported to the business owner or manager.
